This Souber Composite Door Opener - Inside System gives you a safe, precise way to release failed multi-point locks from the inside of inward-opening doors, and from the outside of outward-opening doors. You can use it for situations where the lock has seized, jammed, twisted, or completely failed, and you need clean, non-destructive entry instead of brute force.

To use it properly, you must run a 12-volt compact reciprocating saw with a 12–16 mm stroke. That shorter stroke keeps the cut controlled and prevents damage to the frame or hooks. Standard recip saws with 30 mm strokes hit too hard, travel too far, and will not work with this system.

How to Use It

• Use the two hands-free spreaders to open up a consistent 7 mm working gap between the door and frame.
• Slide the door and frame protector into place over the failed hooks to shield surfaces and guide the cut.
• Use the compact 12-volt reciprocating saw with the correct stroke to release the lock cleanly and safely.

Important:

• This kit requires the use of a 12 Volt Compact reciprocating saw with a stroke of 12-16mm and nothing more. It does not work with regular Reciprocating saws, which have 30mm strokes. Suggested makes are DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita and Bosch.
