MN039 - AVDI 7G (VGS4-NAG2) TCU Virgin and Personalization by Diagnostic CAN

The 7G (VGS4-NAG2) TCU Virgin and Personalization by Diagnostic CAN license lets you personalise VGS4-NAG2 7G-Tronic transmission control units for Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles with the FBS4/DAS4 immo generation, provided you have the FBS4 personalization data.

If you don’t have previously read FBS4 personalisation data, simply use the MN034 license instead.

Unlike other methods, this license doesn’t require any explicit virgin-state setting. You can avoid cutting or opening the module and can easily reuse second-hand TCUs. The process becomes faster, simpler, and far safer.

Functionalities:

• Read FBS4 data from VGS4-NAG2 modules via OBD or on bench*.
• Write FBS4 personalization data to the TCU via OBD and internal CAN-Bus** or on bench*.
• Using this software license, you can personalise used VGS4-NAG2 transmission control units by reading the FBS4 data from the original module and writing the previous one’s data on the replacement module, all by OBD and internal CAN-Bus** connection or on bench*.

*Bench connection can be established via CB088
**Internal CAN-Bus connection can be established via CB012

Supported vehicles:

• All Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles from the FBS4/DAS4 immobilizer generation, equipped with 7G-Tronic (VGS4NAG2) Transmission Control Units

MN032 license, and AVDI with an active annual subscription are required.

Please note that customers who already own the MN035 and have purchased SET088 will receive the MN039 Special Function for free.
